April Meeting -CANCELED
posted Apr 11, 2020, 11:35 AM by Sam Angell [ updated Apr 11, 2020, 11:35 AM by Kevin N]
All,
After consulting with the GPAT Board, we have come to the decision to cancel this months' Regular Membership meeting scheduled for this Wednesday.
Unfortunately, the Annual Common Dig has been canceled as well. Hopefully, we can reschedule it in May. It would most likely be in the Santa Ritas due to the warmer temperatures. We will wait until later to see how the COVID-19 status goes before we can officially plan for this event.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me or call me.
Thanks,
David

All,
After consulting with the GPAT Board, we have come to the decision to cancel this months' Regular Membership meeting scheduled for this Wednesday.
We will have our meeting next month on April 15th. Hopefully, we can get Jim Brisco to be the guest speaker in April. Remember that April is also the Annual Common Dig, so get prepared to go digging and have a great time camping.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me or call me.
Thanks,
David
January 2020 Meeting
posted Jan 13, 2020, 5:31 PM by Sam Angell [ updated Jan 13, 2020, 5:31 PM by Kevin N]
All,
Just a friendly reminder of our upcoming Membership meeting on January 15th Wednesday Night at 7:00 PM. Our meeting will be at the VFW Hall at 5320 E. Bellevue.
I want to thank all of you for coming to the Christmas dinner, I think everyone had a great time.
No Guest Speaker signed up at this time, but working on several contacts. Anyone that has an idea for a subject for discussion, bring it.
At this meeting, we will also be voting in all nominations for officer positions. The open positions are President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and the two positions for Three Board Members. Nominated for President is David Steimle, for Vice-President is Ken Summers, Jan Carden for Treasurer, Secretary is Michael Andrews, and the two Three Year Boards Members are Chuck Keyes, Earl Colvin, and John Stutz. That means there will be a vote for the Three Year Board Member positions. All three of these guys would be great as board members. Come help us decide.
We will start the sale of the tickets for the 1/4 oz. nugget this meeting with the drawing to be held at the April Common Dig.
This month's outing will be on Saturday (1/18) at the Polaris claim and the meet time is now back to the 8 AM time. We will meet at the Mile Post 7 turn off Arivaca Rd. Maybe the weather will cooperate with us this time.
Thanks,
David Steimle
